FSA/DCAP Mid-Year Enrollment


State agency, higher education or community and technical college employees may enroll in the FSA or DCAP at the following times:

  • When you become eligible for PEBB benefits. You must enroll no later than 31 days after the date you become eligible for PEBB benefits.
  • During PEBB’s annual open enrollment held in the fall. You must enroll no later than the last day of the open enrollment.
  • You also may enroll during the plan year if you or an eligible family member has a qualifying change in status that creates a special open enrollment. You must submit your request to enroll no later than 60 days after the event that created the special open enrollment

Note: You cannot enroll in a PEBB consumer-directed health plan with an HSA and an FSA at the same time.
